Michael van Kampen

Michael van Kampen, CPA, CA, is a seasoned taxation professional with extensive experience at MNP since January 2017, where roles have included Partner and various management positions within Taxation Services. Prior to MNP, Michael worked at Adams MacFarlane Chartered Accountants and Butalia Raymond & Co LLP as a Staff Accountant, focusing primarily on personal tax returns. Early career experience includes a Staff Accountant position at BDO Canada in the Private Enterprise Group, handling financial statement compilations and tax return preparation. Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Calgary and completed the CA School of Business program, achieving CPA designation from CPA Canada between 2016 and 2019.
