Michael Ip

Michael Ip is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in managing and designing transportation and capital improvement projects across California. Currently serving as Principal Engineer and Transportation Group Lead at MNS Engineers since November 2012, Michael oversees projects in Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles Counties, with notable accolades including multiple APWA Transportation Project of the Year awards. Prior experience includes a Senior Project Manager role at AECOM, where Michael managed significant projects such as the California State University Entrance Road Improvements and the State Route 34 Widening Project. Early career positions at PBS&J and URS Corporation involved project management in Southern and Northern California, respectively. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s degree from UC Irvine.
