The Mo Dewji Foundation is a bold and dynamic philanthropic organization rooted in Tanzania, dedicated to transforming lives and expanding opportunities across the nation. Founded in 2014 by Mohammed “Mo” Dewji, the Foundation stands firmly on three essential pillars: education, healthcare, and access to clean water—critical elements that underpin human dignity and sustainable development.

At the heart of the Foundation is a profound belief that every Tanzanian deserves the chance to live a healthy, empowered, and dignified life. But the Mo Dewji Foundation is much more than a donor—it is a committed partner embedded in the communities it serves. It listens deeply, learns continuously, and shows up relentlessly, bringing innovative, compassionate, and impactful programs directly to those most in need. Whether providing scholarships to bright students, delivering life-saving medical care, or ensuring safe water to underserved villages, the Foundation’s work is deliberate and transformative.

Driven by a spirit of bold ambition and grounded in local realities, the Mo Dewji Foundation acts as a learning engine and a pulse-checker—combining on-the-ground insight with visionary leadership. It is the organization to which people turn when they seek real, measurable impact in Tanzania. This fusion of heart, innovation, and accountability empowers the Foundation to not just alleviate poverty and hardship but to build a prosperous, equitable, and sustainable future for all Tanzanians.
