Liam Dolan

Liam Dolan (Ó Dubhláin) is the Deputy Director and a Senior Scientist at the Gregor Mendel Institute in Vienna, and co-founder of MoA Technology. They previously held the position of Sherardian Professor of Botany at the University of Oxford from 2009 to 2020, during which time they also served as Senior Fellow at the Oxford Martin School and Keeper of the University of Oxford Botanic Garden. Liam’s research focuses on the developmental mechanisms controlling plant growth and has significantly advanced understanding of plant evolution over 500 million years. They were elected a fellow of The Royal Society in 2014 and have served as a trustee for several organizations, including the New Phytologist Foundation and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
