Rohit Desai

Rohit Desai has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Rohit is currently working at Moback, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they are involved in crafting next-gen technology in AR/VR and delivering high-quality work for Fortune 500 companies. Prior to this, Rohit worked at Discover Financial Services as an Innovation Engineer, where they led the AR/VR/MR technology implementation in the fintech and payment industry. Rohit developed AR mobile apps and pioneered the AR/VR/MR roadmap for the Innovation Office. Before that, they were a Research Assistant at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where they worked on algorithm development and prototyped informative mixed reality applications. Rohit also gained experience as an Innovation Intern at PTC's Reality Lab, where they worked on web-based AR and IoT frameworks. Additionally, Rohit has worked as a Unity3D programmer at The Walt Disney Company, an Augmented Reality Developer at Invent Media LLC - Digital Marketing Agency, and as a Jr. Mobile Application Developer and Game Developer at TechTreeIT Systems Pvt. Ltd., where they contributed to the development of various mobile applications and games.

Rohit Desai holds a master's degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Prior to that, they completed an Engineer's Degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Visvesvaraya Technological University. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Responsible Conduct of Research for Engineers from CITI Program, A Division of BRANY in April 2019.
