Leland Takamine

Leland Takamine started their work experience in 2009 as a Cal Teach Summer Intern at UC Santa Cruz. In 2010, they worked as a Summer Intern at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. Leland then returned to UC Santa Cruz in 2009 as a Cal Teach Intern. In 2011, Leland worked as a Software Developer Intern at TrickPlay Inc. and also as an Android Developer Intern at UC Santa Cruz. Leland joined TrickPlay Inc. again in 2012 as a Software Engineer before becoming a Mobile Engineering Manager at Guidebook Inc. in the same year. Leland then moved to Uber in 2015, where they served as a Mobile Platform Tech Lead until 2020. Currently, they are the Cofounder and CEO of mobile.dev.

Leland Takamine received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Leland studied at the university from 2007 to 2012.
