Gregory Ostapenko has worked in a variety of roles in the IT field since 2001. Gregory began their career as a System and Network Engineer for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, where they were responsible for Wintel Server Administration, Microsoft Networked Technology Support, MS Exchange 2003 implementation and support, and user support. Gregory then moved to Home Credit and Finance Bank as a System and Network Engineer, where they were responsible for system administration, LAN design, Paradox database design and administration, and video surveillance system design and installation. In 2012, they worked as a Systems Engineer for SecureCom, followed by a Systems Engineer role at Base-2 ICT Services Ltd, where they were certified as a Sophos UTM Architect. Most recently, they have been a Senior Modern Work & Security Engineer at Mobile Mentor Ltd, where they work with MDMs, develops automated solutions for Workspace ONE and Intune, and implements security policies.
Gregory Ostapenko has a solid educational background. Gregory attended Petrozavodsk State University (PetrSU) from 1996 to 2001, where they studied Automated Systems of information processing and control. In addition to their university education, Ostapenko has obtained four certifications from Microsoft and Citrix Training. These include a Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert in 2021, a Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate in 2020, a Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate in 2021, and a CCP-M from Citrix Training in 2017.
