Dewayne Allen

Product Manager / QA at Mobile Tech RX

Dewayne Allen has a wealth of experience in the telecommunications industry, beginning with their role as a Telecommunications Technician in the United States Air Force from 1995-1999. Afterward, they worked as a Telecommunications Specialist for WorldCom from 1999-2005, followed by an Implementation Specialist role at Verizon Small Business from 2005-2006. In 2006, they moved to Cambridge Auto Center, where they served as General Manager until 2014. From 2014-2017, they were a Radio Show Host for Newsradio 1200 WOAI, and from 2017-present, they have held roles as both a Product Manager and QA at Mobile Tech RX, as well as a Student Fellow at Codeup.

Dewayne Allen has a High School Diploma from McMinn County High School, which they obtained between 1990 and 1994. Dewayne then served in the United States Air Force from 1995 to 1999, where they studied Telecommunications Technology/Technician. In 2016, they attended Codeup for Full Stack Software/Web Development. In 2017, they attended Udacity for Android Basics by Google and freeCodeCamp for Full Stack Web Development Certification and Computer Software Engineering. Dewayne also obtained a Jira Fundamentals Badge from Atlassian in 2022, Agile Software Development from Lynda.com in 2019, Learning React.js from Lynda.com in 2017, and Shaping up with Angular.js from Code School.
