Ryan O'Shea has a diverse work history that spans various roles and industries. Ryan started their career as a Congressional Intern in the United States Congressional Office, 5th District, Massachusetts, from December 2006 to May 2007. Following that, they worked as a Sales Representative at Advanced Marketing Solutions for a brief period from May 2007 to October 2007.
In 2007, Ryan joined Geeknet (slashdot.org/sourceforge.net) as an Ad Trafficker, where they handled digital ad campaigns targeting a tech audience and provided support to sales teams across the United States. Ryan held this position until August 2010.
From November 2011 to October 2012, Ryan worked as a Digital Ad Manager at Questex Media Group. In this role, they managed digital advertising campaigns.
In November 2012, Ryan joined Boston.com as a Digital Traffic Coordinator. Their responsibilities included trafficking rich media, radio, and banner ad campaigns across various platforms such as Boston.com, BostonGlobe.com, RadioBDC, and direct email. Ryan occupied this position until August 2013.
Since September 2013, Ryan has been associated with MobileFuse. Ryan started as an Account Manager and worked their way up through the ranks. Ryan served as a Senior Account Manager from May 2015 to April 2016 and later as a Senior Traffic & Analysis Manager from April 2016 to July 2017. In August 2017, they became a Manager, Programmatic Operations, and held the position until June 2018. Ryan then progressed to the role of Associate Director, Programmatic Operations, from July 2018 to July 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Programmatic Operations at MobileFuse starting from July 2021.
Ryan O'Shea attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2004 to 2007. Ryan obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science during their time there. In addition to their formal education, Ryan also earned two additional certifications. In 2015, they obtained the IAB Digital Ad Operations Certification from the Commission on Certification. Two years later, in 2017, they obtained the AppNexus Platform Certificate: Buy-Side Essentials from AppNexus.
