André Gomes has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. André started their career as an IT Technician at Norsistemas in 1998, where they provided support for software, computers, networks, and servers. André then moved on to become a Network and Systems Manager at Norsistemas in 2002, where they were responsible for the configuration, deployment, and management of Windows Server and RedHat servers. André also provided support to the sales department and managed data communication networks and IP networking equipment.

In 2010, André joined ALGORITMI Center as a Researcher, working on designing, deploying, and configuring testbeds to study and assess QoS mechanisms in IPv6 networks. André was awarded a research scholarship by the National Foundation for Science and Technology during this role.

Since 2012, André has been working at Mobileum, initially as a Senior System Integrator for the North America and Caribbean region. In this role, they contributed to integrating systems and ensuring smooth operations. Recently, they transitioned to the role of Cloud Engineer, focusing on cloud-based technologies.

Throughout their career, André has showcased their technical expertise in IT support and network and systems management, and has been involved in research and development in the field of QoS mechanisms.

André Gomes started their education at Microcamp International in 1991 and completed their studies in 1992. André then attended Escola Secundária Alberto Sampaio from an unspecified start year until 1999, where they pursued a degree in Computer Technician. Following this, they joined ANFEI Siemens - Associação Nacional de Formação Electrónica Industrial from 2002 to 2003, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in an undisclosed field of study. Finally, André Gomes attended Universidade do Minho from 2004 to 2012, earning a Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering.
