Itay Benou

Itay Benou is an experienced Artificial Intelligence Researcher at Mobileye since November 2021, previously serving as AI Research Team Lead and Computer Vision Researcher at Intel Corporation from November 2018 to November 2021. Prior to this, Benou worked as a researcher in the Medical Image Analysis Lab at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from July 2017 to November 2018, focusing on computer vision and machine learning. Benou's career began with a role as an R&D team leader and electrical engineer in the Israel Defense Forces from March 2012 to July 2017. An academic background includes a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in the same field from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
