Or Simhon

Or Simhon is an experienced algorithm and control developer currently working at Mobileye in the Autonomous Vehicle group since March 2024. Previously, Or served as a Deep Learning Research Engineer at Imubit, focusing on developing and optimizing deep reinforcement learning models for real-time process control. Or's research tenure at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev included significant contributions as a Computer Vision and Reinforcement Learning Researcher, where a novel reward function approach was proposed for robotics navigation, alongside the implementation of various deep reinforcement learning algorithms and techniques. Additionally, Or has experience as a teaching assistant in subjects such as C programming, control systems, dynamics, and robotic arm systems. Or holds a Master of Science degree in Autonomous Systems, Robotics, and Deep Learning, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
