Yuval Avner

Yuval Avner is a seasoned professional in the field of electrical engineering, specializing in algorithms and perception technologies. Currently serving as the Sensing Group Manager and Senior Director of Lidar Perception at Mobileye since August 2020, Yuval has held various leadership positions including Algorithms Group Leader and Senior Algorithms Team Leader. Prior to Mobileye, experience includes significant roles at Apple from February 2013 to August 2020 as the PHY Algorithms Team Leader, Technical Lead, and Engineer. Previous experience also includes working as a Phy Algo Engineer at Texas Instruments and as a Signal Processing Engineer in Israel between 2005 and 2009. Yuval holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Communications and Information Theory, as well as a BSc in Electrical Engineering, both from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
