David Young

David Young has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. David started their career as a Senior Programmer at ESI Software Limited in 1992. David then moved on to Envision Health Networks Corporation, where they served as the Chief Technologist responsible for the technical product development of professional nutritional analysis software.

In 1993, David joined Chancery Software Limited as an Intermediate C++ Programmer and progressively worked their way up to become a Technical Manager. In this role, they oversaw the functional and technical design documentation development for the company's Windows-based school administration software.

David then transitioned to Imandi.com Incorporated in 1999 as a Development Manager and Senior C++ Developer, leading a team of C++ and HTML developers. David managed the development and deployment of new features for the imandi.com website.

In 2001, David worked at Appliant.com Incorporated as a Development Lead and Senior C++ Developer. David was responsible for overseeing the development process for the data collection components of the Lateral Line software.

Later in 2001, David joined Alerton Technologies Limited as a Project Manager and Senior C++ Developer, participating in various innovative projects related to heating/cooling and ventilation (HVAC) digital control devices.

From 2003 to 2014, David worked at Microsoft in various roles within the SQL Server Group. David started as a Senior Developer and progressed to become a Development Lead. Their responsibilities included deployment, configuration, and servicing software for SQL Server appliances. David also led improvement projects and collaborated with other teams to define product changes and milestones.

Most recently, David served as a Development Lead at Kareo from 2014 to 2016, overseeing the development of two product solutions related to online billing and clinical software used by doctors throughout the US.

Currently, David is working as a Software Engineering Manager at MobilityWare since 2018.

David Young holds a Bachelor's degree in Business and Computer Science with a double major from The University of British Columbia. The specific start and end years of their education are not provided.
