John Heard

John Heard has over 40 years of work experience in software engineering and programming. John started their career at Great Southern Bank as a Computer Programmer from 1980 to 1982. John then worked at Burroughs as a Systems Programmer from 1982 to 1986. John joined Unisys in 1986 as a Staff Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented mainframe networking software and led a team in creating a new transaction processing control system until 1993. From 1994 to 2014, they worked at Upstanding LLC as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on backend server software, Facebook applications, and a CRM system for banks. Since 2003, they have been working at MobilityWare as a Principal Software Engineer, where they have designed and implemented various iPhone/iPad apps, a mobile ad mediation solution, and software systems for remote control and support of desktops and handheld devices.

John Heard completed their undergraduate education at Missouri State University from 1978 to 1982. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Management during this time.
