Hisham Hendi

Hisham Hendi is an experienced executive in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as the Consumer Business Unit Director at Vodafone Spain since November 2021 and as a Non-Executive Director at Banque du Caire since March 2021. Hendi is an active member of YPO since January 2019 and previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer and Executive Board Director at Vodacom Tanzania Plc from September 2016 to November 2021, leading the largest telecom network in Tanzania with substantial revenues and customer base. Hendi's earlier roles at Vodacom included Commercial Director and Non-Executive Director, as well as various significant leadership positions at Vodafone, where strategic marketing initiatives resulted in successful business growth during challenging economic conditions. Hendi holds degrees from Cairo University, IMD, and London Business School, enhancing a solid foundation in business administration and management.
