Jawed Iqbal

Jawed Iqbal has extensive experience in the telecommunications field, currently serving as a Telecom Consultant for Fiber Infrastructure Design at Mobily since February 2006. In this role, Jawed Iqbal focuses on developing and studying new solutions for Fiber to the Home (FTTH) and updating existing design guidelines for efficient deployment. Previously, as an Executive Manager at Mobily, responsibilities included developing design guidelines for FTTH deployment across major cities in Saudi Arabia, managing design teams, and preparing specifications for materials. Prior to joining Mobily, Jawed Iqbal worked at the Ministry of Defence and Aviation in Saudi Arabia from August 1986 to February 2006, where the design and implementation of a long-distance fiber network for military communications were key achievements. Jawed Iqbal holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, earned between 1977 and 1982.
