Ben Tisdall

Ben Tisdall has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ben started their career as a Sound Engineer and Musician, working for organizations such as BBC News, ITN, and QVC. During this time, they also produced music and drummed in various bands. In 2006, they started their own consultancy, redcircleit.com, where they provided IT services to small and medium businesses, focusing on open-source alternatives and cost reduction.

In 2007, Ben joined PhotoBox as a System Administrator, where they played a crucial role in transforming the web infrastructure and implementing cloud-scaling solutions. Ben later became a System Engineer, leading the re-implementation of the web stack entirely in AWS. Ben worked on this role until 2017 when they joined moovel Group as a DevOps Engineer. During their time at moovel Group, they were responsible for managing the company's DevOps infrastructure.

In 2019, Ben transitioned to FREE NOW (formerly mytaxi) as a Platform Engineer, where they worked until 2020. Later that year, they joined moovel (which became REACH NOW) as a Backend Software Engineer. Currently, they are working at Mobimeo as a Backend Software Engineer. Ben Tisdall's education history begins with their attendance at Tarring High School from 1977 to 1981. Ben then went on to Worthing Sixth Form College from 1981 to 1983.
