Joerg E.

Joerg E. has a diverse work experience in the technology sector. Joerg started their career as a Student Research Assistant at Hochschule RheinMain in 2012 and worked there until 2014. Joerg then joined BSI as a Software Developer from September 2014 to March 2015. In May 2015, they moved to AOE and worked as a Software Developer for a few months before transitioning to planfeuer GmbH as a Web Developer in October 2015. At planfeuer GmbH, they held multiple roles as a Web Developer from October 2015 to March 2018, and then from March 2018 to April 2019.

In April 2019, Joerg returned to AOE as a Software Developer and worked there until July 2021. During their tenure at AOE, they were part of a distributed, remote-first, cross-functional SCRUM team and worked on developing an eCommerce platform deployed to Kubernetes running on AWS. Joerg'sresponsibilities included integrating internal microservices and external APIs in a Backend-For-Frontend architecture in Go, as well as implementing business logic.

From July 2021 to April 2023, Joerg worked as a Solution Architect at Omnevo, which is part of the AOE Group. In this role, they provided consulting services to key customers, helping them find the best solutions using the platform and planning custom development.

Currently, Joerg is a Senior Software Engineer at Mobimeo, where they joined in April 2023. Joerg is part of a distributed development team working in Kanban, specializing in web development with Typescript, Node, and React. Joerg'smain project at Mobimeo is the development and operation of MobiSupport, Mobimeo's customer service tool.

Joerg E. completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Media Computer Science from RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Joerg pursued further education at Stuttgart Media University, earning their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science and Media from 2015 to 2017. In 2016, they also spent a year at KTH Royal Institute of Technology on an Erasmus program, focusing on Computer Science and Communication.
