Kai Peter

Kai Peter has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Kai currently serves as the CFO & Managing Director at Mobimeo since June 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Deutsche Bahn for more than a decade as a Senior Manager M&A from June 2007 to December 2018. Before that, they were an Investment Manager at Günther Holding GmbH from January 2005 to April 2007. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as an Analyst at IKB Private Equity from October 2000 to December 2004, where they focused on market analysis and business plan analysis in the German IT sector. Kai began their career at UBS, where they served as a Junior Market Maker from September 1994 to July 1999 and also completed a Bank Clerk Apprenticeship from August 1992 to June 1994.

Kai Peter attended the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management from 1994 to 2000, where they received a degree in Dipl. Betriebswirt with a focus on Economics & Finance. In 1996, they participated in a full-time Junior Year Abroad program at San Diego State University, studying Finance & Marketing. In 1997, they also completed another full-time Junior Year Abroad program at University College Dublin, focusing on the Faculty of Commerce.

In addition to their formal education, Kai Peter has obtained several certifications. In 1997, they received a Trainer Certification from IHK Frankfurt am Main. In 2018, they obtained a certification as a Merger Integration Professional from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht. Most recently, in December 2022, they completed an Advanced Management Programme at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
