John Holmes

John Holmes has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 35 years. John started their career in the US Navy as a Naval Officer and Pilot, where they commanded and piloted missions supporting anti-drug surveillance efforts. John then transitioned to roles in the defense industry, working for companies such as Arist Corporation, Coleman Research Corporation, L-3 Communications (SYColeman), and Coleman Technologies. In these roles, they served as a Senior DoD Acquisition Analyst, Business Development Manager, and Account Executive, successfully achieving growth and leading strategic bids. From 2013 onwards, John joined Mobius, initially as the VP of Business Development and later as the VP of Defense Programs. In these positions, they led business development efforts, managed professional engineering services accounts, and oversaw the operation, acquisition, and engineering management of complex aviation and defense systems. Overall, John has demonstrated expertise in program acquisition, business development, and leadership in the defense industry.

John Holmes attended the University of South Carolina from 1982 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration. In addition to their degree, they also obtained the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute in August 2009 and the Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification from the FAA in May 2001.
