Thinakaran P has held various finance and operations roles throughout their work experience. Thinakaran is currently working as the Chief Financial Officer at Mobius Knowledge Services since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Agrya Consulting Private Limited from October 2021 to February 2022. Thinakaran also gained extensive experience at Mobius Knowledge Services, where they held positions such as AVP - Finance & Business Operations from July 2016 to October 2021 and Head - Finance from September 2014 to June 2016. Before joining Mobius Knowledge Services, they worked as the DGM - Finance at SPi Global from April 2011 to September 2014. Thinakaran's career began at Laserwords in the year 2000, where they progressed from Junior Manager to Senior Manager - Finance. Thinakaran was responsible for managing US accounts, MIS reporting, consolidation, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Additionally, they worked as the Manager - Finance & Accounts, overseeing payroll, accounting, auditing, and statutory reporting. Thinakaran also played a key role in a merger and was part of the due diligence team for the acquisition of two US entities. Prior to Laserwords, they held roles in accounting and finance at Apex Abstracting & Editing Services Private Limited, Parvathi Industries, and Sudharsanam Associates.

Thinakaran P has a diverse education history. In 1989, they started their undergraduate studies at Bharathidasan University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Thinakaran completed this program in 1992. In the following years, from 1992 to 1994, Thinakaran continued their studies at Bharathidasan University, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Mathematics.

After a gap, Thinakaran enrolled in the Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications program at Bharathidasan University in 1995-1996, focusing on software development and applications.

In 2006, Thinakaran pursued further academic qualifications by enrolling in the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. Thinakaran completed the ICWA program in 2009, specializing in Cost Accounting.

Thinakaran's pursuit of knowledge did not stop there. In 2018, they obtained a Diploma in IFRS from ACCA, which expanded their expertise in accounting and finance.

In 2019, Thinakaran began studying at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, where they successfully completed all four subjects and is currently in the process of obtaining their license in accounting and finance.

Most recently, from 2020 to 2021, Thinakaran studied at Annamalai University, pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. This program emphasized general business administration and management.
