Chris Elce has a diverse work experience spanning over the past decade. In 2021, they began working as a Business Development Manager at MobLab, an L&D economics learning SaaS platform. Chris'sroles and responsibilities include project management and instructional design of learning content in collaboration with subject matter specialists, as well as an understanding of the compliance standards within EdTech and institutional university environments. In 2018, Elce became the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Yokose World Exporter, Inc. where they were responsible for developing company strategy with the company CEO, managing projects with various private sector and government vendors/stakeholders based in the US and Japan, and developing and implementing scalable technology solutions. From 2010 to 2016, Elce worked as a Food & Beverage Industry Consultant, providing professional solutions for both FOH and BOH restaurant operations, researching, developing, and implementing customized digital marketing, hardware, and software solutions, and monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting social media marketing campaign data. In 2016, Elce founded a small food startup, creating, marketing, distributing, and selling various wholesale food services and items B2B and B2C, and maintaining long term relationships with food vendors, chefs, and end users. In 2013, Elce became the Executive Chef at Public Beer & Wine, where they were responsible for managing kitchen operations, inventory, and personnel development via coaching, interviewing and hiring staff, and participating in the launch of the business from the buildout phase to public debut. In 2011, Elce founded the tech startup Paw Pals Mobile App, a social mobile app and IoT hardware integration concept that would help owners keep track of their pets, with an in-app tokenized economy to help facilitate commerce and social interaction with pets with augmented reality aspects. Chris also co-filed provisional patents for software and hardware. In 2010, Elce co-founded the tech startup EXSP, a web-based digital marketing and advertising company. This was Elce's first deep dive into the tech sector, and they gained core technical and business experience in web technologies during this time.

Chris Elce has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from California State University, Long Beach and an Associate of Arts in Music from the same institution. Chris has also obtained a number of certifications, including Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design from Coursera (February 2022), Google Data Analytics Certificate from Coursera (November 2021), Foundations of Project Management from Coursera (June 2021), Data Science Math Skills from Coursera (May 2021), and (ISC)² Candidate from (ISC)² (October 2022).
