Gavin Burnett

Gavin Burnett has over 20 years of experience in the digital industry. Gavin began their career in 1999 as the Founder and Managing Director of Empired (formerly BigRedSky). During their time at the company, they raised $2.5 million in capital and won two whole of government recruitment service contracts with proprietary technology. In 2006, they took on the role of General Manager Digital at West Australian Newspapers Holdings. In 2009, they became the Founder and CEO of Locafy, where they provided powerful, low-cost, fully automated search marketing products to SMB customers. Theirmission was to simplify local search for local business owners worldwide.

Gavin Burnett attended Curtin University from 1987 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.).
