Qin Li

Qin Li has extensive experience in the technology industry. In 2017, they joined Mobvoi as the VP of Engineering. Prior to that, they were the Co-founder and Chief Scientist at Beijing Xiao Yu Technology Co. Ltd. from 2015. From 2005-2010, Qin Li worked at Microsoft, where they held the roles of Principal Development Lead, Senior Development Lead, and Software Design Engineer. During their time at Microsoft, they shipped Voice Capture DSP component in Windows Vista and Windows 7, Audio Resampler DSP component in Windows Vista and Windows 7, the first acoustic echo cancellation module to Office Communicator 2007, and fixed point version acoustic echo cancellation module to Ford Sync car audio system.

Qin Li attended Peking University from 1991 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Geophysics and Seismology. Qin then attended the Institute of Geology, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a Master's Degree in Geophysical Engineering. Finally, Qin Li attended the University of Washington from 1999 to 2005, where they earned a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Geophysics.
