Before that, they worked as a Building Surveyor at Network Rail from November 2019 to November 2021, where they conducted detailed surveys of various assets and made recommendations for repairs. Zoë also has experience working as a Project Lead and Property Services Officer at Equity Housing Group, where they specialized in developing software solutions for asset management and managed property stock portfolios. Zoë started their career as an Asset Management Administrator at Johnnie Johnson Housing, where they handled environmental management, energy efficiency, grants, and funding.

Zoë La Brow pursued their education in a chronological order. Zoë began their academic journey in 1997 by enrolling at The Manchester Metropolitan University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with Honors in Social Science. After completing their undergraduate studies, they furthered their education at Stockport College from 2007 to 2008. During this time, they pursued a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Construction & the Built Environment. Following their studies at Stockport College, Zoë La Brow continued their educational pursuits at The University of Salford from 2008 to 2011. Here, they obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Assessment & Management.
