Araceli Wagner is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in education and outreach focused on underserved communities. Currently serving as a Bilingual Education and Outreach Specialist II at Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA) since July 2017, Araceli Wagner previously led outreach programs for Girl Scouts of NE Kansas & NW Missouri, implementing weekly programming in low-income schools. Other notable roles include a summer internship at K-State Research and Extension, providing nutrition education for low-income families, and various positions at Camp Fire where Araceli Wagner developed curricula promoting healthy living and conflict resolution among youth. Araceli Wagner holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies/Affairs from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, earned between 2013 and 2017.

MOCSA’s mission is to improve the lives of those impacted by sexual abuse and assault and to prevent sexual violence in our community. Together we can create a community free from sexual assault and abuse. Our services are free of charge and available to survivors and their families in the Kansas City metropolitan area. We offer the following services: - 24-hour Crisis Services: 816-531-0233 & 913-642-0233 - Advocacy: hospital, legal, police, and court advocacy; support groups - Counseling: individual and group therapy - Education: age-appropriate programs for children in elementary, middle, and high schools; training for advocates, counselors, law enforcement, restaurant and bar staff, and other professionals - Prevention: supporting community based coalitions in both Missouri and Kansas to prevent sexual assault and other forms of violence
