Carrie Roberts is an experienced professional in development and data coordination, currently serving as the Grants Data Coordinator at the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA) since June 2019. Prior roles include Development Specialist at Metro Lutheran Ministry, Office Administrator at the Women's Foundation, and Development Information Coordinator at Metro Lutheran Ministry. Additional experience includes teaching at Community Covenant Preschool and Parents Day Out, and various administrative and financial positions at Ameriprise Financial Services, United Campus Ministry, and the Humane Society of Missouri. Carrie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Germanic Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Library & Information Science from Dominican University.

Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA)

MOCSA’s mission is to improve the lives of those impacted by sexual abuse and assault and to prevent sexual violence in our community. Together we can create a community free from sexual assault and abuse. Our services are free of charge and available to survivors and their families in the Kansas City metropolitan area. We offer the following services: - 24-hour Crisis Services: 816-531-0233 & 913-642-0233 - Advocacy: hospital, legal, police, and court advocacy; support groups - Counseling: individual and group therapy - Education: age-appropriate programs for children in elementary, middle, and high schools; training for advocates, counselors, law enforcement, restaurant and bar staff, and other professionals - Prevention: supporting community based coalitions in both Missouri and Kansas to prevent sexual assault and other forms of violence
