James Maynard has a diverse work experience history. James most recently worked at Mod Op as a Senior Developer, where they provided front and back end development using content management systems like Adobe Experience Manager and created custom Java components and services. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Mod Op, where they performed discovery and smoke testing and developed a nightwatchJS regression testing suite. James also worked at Nike as a Digital Analytics & Optimization Developer, where they developed A/B/n tests on the Nike.com website. James Maynard's education history begins in 2001, when they enrolled at the University of Montana. James pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Literature and Creative Writing, which took him until 2006 to complete.

In that year, they began pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) degree in Creative Writing with a focus on Poetry at The University of Alabama.
