Alex Porter

Alex Porter has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries.

In 1999, Alex began their career in customer service and sales roles, engaging customers and providing shopping assistance and marketing directives.

In 2001, Alex founded BonsaiBirth, a company that provided continuous personalized support for parents during the childbearing years and beyond. As a mentor, birth, and postpartum doula, Alex prioritized creating secure and safe learning environments for children and maintaining dependable resources and documentation.

Starting in 2010, Alex founded Moxie Life Designs, where they provided architectural visualization solutions, home staging, and interior design services in residential design. Alex also managed drawing plans, maintained the office atmosphere, organized inventory, and developed strong client relationships.

In 2016, Alex founded Underminer Studios, leveraging their background in interior design to create functional and aesthetically pleasing virtual spaces. As the founder and CEO, Alex utilized their business and personal management skills to enable others to perform at their best capabilities.

From 2016 to 2020, Alex also worked as an Intel Innovator, participating in speaking and demonstration opportunities for innovative, independent developers. Through their expertise and innovation, Alex inspired the greater developer community.

In 2018, Alex took on the role of Chairperson at the Consumer Technology Association. Their mission there was to help innovators of all sizes grow their business and spark idea generation with a focus on technology that improves people's lives.

In 2020, Alex joined NVIDIA as a member of their NVIDIA Inception program, collaborating with other startups to drive technological advancements.

In 2022, Alex became a founding member of the Executive Council Network (ECN), an invite-only platform that fosters partnership, community, learning, and impact beyond corporate walls. Through world-class summits and events, Alex works collectively with the membership to achieve positive business and social outcomes.

Most recently, in 2020, Alex founded Mod Tech Labs Inc, a company that helps businesses effortlessly scale 3D content creation by digitizing the real world with photos and videos. Their platform utilizes automated AI-powered workflows to simplify digitization and create immersive Web3 and Metaverse content. Alex holds the title of Founder and CEO at Mod Tech Labs Inc.

Alex Porter holds a diverse education history. In 2007, they enrolled at Texas State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design and Construction Technology. They completed their undergraduate studies in 2010.

In 2021, Alex attended Draper University, earning a Change Agent certification focused on Entrepreneurship during the summer. This experience would have added to their skill set and knowledge in the field.

In the following year, 2022, Alex attended Yellowbrick.com, where they obtained a NYU Film and TV Industry Essentials Certificate. This program provided them with a foundation in Film and Video Production.
