Shannon Collum

Shannon Collum is a seasoned educational professional with extensive experience in literacy coaching and training consultancy. Currently, Shannon serves as a Professional Coach at Shift with Shannon and as a Training Consultant and Project Specialist at Mod43, Inc. Previous roles include Literacy Specialist at Mt. Ararat High School and District Literacy Coach at Whiteford Agricultural Schools, where Shannon secured funding, established coaching relationships, and facilitated professional development. Shannon also served as a Literacy Coach at Monroe Public Schools, leading staff training and implementing curriculum enhancements, and spent many years as an English Teacher at Romulus Community Schools, focusing on building strong relationships with students and parents while fostering a positive learning environment. Shannon holds a Master’s Degree in Education with a specialization in Reading from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Western Michigan University.
