Marc Gelfo

Mars Gelfo is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in music, technology, and global service. Currently serving as the Sovereign Free Being in Service of Global Flourishing at Our Earth since October 2020, Mars focuses on travel, restoration, and learning. As the Founder of Modacity since February 2017, Mars has created a mobile app that enhances practice for musicians through a science and mindfulness-based environment, leveraging a cognitive science degree and experience as an internationally-touring symphony musician. Mars previously held the role of Chief Technology Officer at Guitar Mastery Intensive, where responsibilities included managing development operations and contributing to educational curricula. Additional experience includes a software engineering role at Evernote, as well as various positions with symphonic orchestras, including Principal Horn at Florida Grand Opera and 2nd Horn with Hong Kong Philharmonic. Educational achievements include a BA from Northwestern University and further studies at Indiana University Bloomington, specializing in Cognitive Science, Computer Science, and Mandarin Chinese.
