David Dorman

David Dorman is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in strategic marketing and growth initiatives. Currently serving as VP of Marketing/Growth at Modal since November 2025, Dorman previously held senior roles at Grafana Labs, where responsibilities included VP of Self-Service and Head of Self-Service. Prior experience includes a focus on growth marketing at DigitalOcean and leading marketing efforts at AppFirst, which was acquired by ScienceLogic. Dorman's background also features roles at TheLadders, where oversight included enterprise marketing and product management. Dorman co-founded ConnectAd, a unique advertising agency, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Maryland.
