Chad Sweet

Chad Sweet has worked in the technology industry since 1998, beginning their career at Qualcomm. At Qualcomm, they held a variety of roles, including Senior Director of Engineering (Robotics R&D), Director of Software Engineering (Robotics R&D), Principal Engineer Manager (Computer Vision R&D), Senior Staff Engineer Manager (EV-DO Access Terminal), Staff Engineer/Manager (EV-DO Access Terminal), Senior Engineer (EV-DO Prototype Terminals), Senior Engineer (CR&D Test Engineering), and Engineer (Globalstar Compliance Lab). In 2018, they became the CEO and Co-founder of ModalAI. In 2021, they joined the Board of the Dronecode Foundation.

Chad Sweet attended Vanderbilt University from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering. In 2012 and 2013, they attended UC San Diego and earned a Diploma in Executive Education, UCSD Executive Perspective for Scientists & Engineers.
