Sam Beard

Sam Beard currently serves as Group Finance Director for Modaxo, overseeing the Svensson Group's ticketing and payment brands since March 2021. Sam's prior roles include Senior Financial Controller for the Mats Ekelund Group and Business Unit Finance Partner for Taranto Systems, both within Modaxo Europe. An Interim Chief Financial Officer for AEP Ticketing Solutions and Financial Director at a Bristol-based consultancy were also part of Sam's career trajectory. With extensive experience in finance, promotions occurred at Semperian PPP Investment Partners leading from Finance Manager to Assistant Investor Financial Controller. Sam's educational background includes a Full Member degree in Accounting and Finance from ACCA, a Level 5 qualification from the Chartered Management Institute, and an AAT from Richard Huish College.
