Al Udwin

Al Udwin has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles.

Al is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of MODBLT, a position they have held since February 2021.

Prior to that, they worked at Universal Standard Housing (USH) from September 2018 to October 2021. In USH, they held multiple roles including Chief Construction Officer, Vice President, and President of USH Builders LLC.

Before joining USH, they served as the President of USH Builders LLC from September 2018 to October 2021.

From December 2016 to September 2018, they worked as the Director of Construction at Consortium West Builders.

Earlier in their career, they held the position of Director of Construction at Pacific Urban Residential from June 2014 to December 2016.

Al also worked as a Consulting VP Construction at Boulder Ventures Development Inc. from May 2013 to May 2014. There, they managed the planning, design, and construction of various projects, including a large resort development in Mexico.

From June 2011 to April 2013, they served as a Senior Construction Manager at Alliance Residential Company, where they managed consulting and construction teams for high-density residential projects.

Al also worked at Bamboo Living Homes as a Global Quality Assurance Manager, contributing to the company's profitability and productivity improvements from an undefined date in 2011 to an undefined date in 2012.

Earlier in their career, they were the Group Vice President at Archstone, overseeing large multi-family development projects and focusing on budget control, schedule management, and green technology. Al held this position from October 2002 to February 2010.

Their work experience also includes a role as a Division Manager at The Hanover Company from November 1999 to August 2002.

Overall, Al Udwin has held various leadership positions in the construction industry, demonstrating their expertise in project management, design, and construction.

Al Udwin attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1973 to 1974. During this time, they studied geology but did not obtain a degree. In 2022, Al Udwin also obtained a California B1 General Contractors License from the California State License Board.
