Al Udwin has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles.

Al also worked at Bamboo Living Homes as a Global Quality Assurance Manager, contributing to the company's profitability and productivity improvements from an undefined date in 2011 to an undefined date in 2012.
Earlier in their career, they were the Group Vice President at Archstone, overseeing large multi-family development projects and focusing on budget control, schedule management, and green technology. Al held this position from October 2002 to February 2010.
Their work experience also includes a role as a Division Manager at The Hanover Company from November 1999 to August 2002.

Al Udwin attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1973 to 1974. During this time, they studied geology but did not obtain a degree. In 2022, Al Udwin also obtained a California B1 General Contractors License from the California State License Board.
