Wes Udwin

Wes Udwin has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Wes is currently the Co-Founder and COO of MODBLT, a company focused on modular multi-family housing in Southern California. In this role, they are responsible for driving effective problem-solving solutions and leveraging efficiencies to deliver affordable and beautiful factory-built housing products.

Before joining MODBLT, Wes worked as a Senior Program Manager at Apex Companies, LLC from 2015 to 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Operations at Ground Service Technology, Inc. from 2013 to 2015. Wes also worked as a Project Manager at Twining, Inc. from 2012 to 2013 and as a Field Manager at R.W. Smith & Co. from 2008 to 2012.

Wes's work experience also includes being a Business Owner at UCM from 2006 to 2007.

Throughout their career, Wes has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills, successfully overseeing various projects and operations.

Wes Udwin completed their undergraduate education at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they studied Economics from 2001 to 2006. After a gap in their education, they pursued a Certificate of Project Management with an emphasis in Construction Management at UC San Diego from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, they attended Universidad Nacional Costa Rica for an unspecified period of time, focusing on Economics and World Cultures.

In terms of certifications, Wes Udwin obtained various qualifications related to environmental and erosion control. Wes became a Qualified Industrial Stormwater Practitioner (QISP) through the CALIFORNIA STORMWATER QUALITY ASSOCIATION in August 2017. In March 2013, they received certification as a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control from Envirocert International. In February 2012, they obtained the certification of Certified Erosion, Sediment, and Storm Water Inspector, also from Envirocert International. Finally, in March 2013, they became a Qualified SWPPP Developer and Practitioner through the California Stormwater Quality Association.
