Stephen Bates is the Founder and Chief Innovation Officer at mode, where they focus on developing the next generation of cannabis hardware with consumer wellness in mind. With a background in fine art and engineering, Stephen previously held roles as an advertising designer and product designer at Vapor Delight Inc., and served as Lead Designer and Engineer at SINES. They hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Passionate about consumer education in cannabis, Stephen also volunteers for Foodcycle LA and enjoys various activities including horticulture and backpacking.
