Filipe Costa is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and project management within the offshore production and renewable energy sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Business Development at MODEC since August 2023, Filipe previously held the role of Senior Director Project Development - EMEA at Plug Power, overseeing major green hydrogen production projects in Europe. Notable past positions include Managing Director at Yinson, where responsibilities encompassed project performance and operations management, and various roles at Bumi Armada, Seaway Heavy Lifting, and SBM Offshore focusing on engineering and project management for offshore projects. Filipe holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering - Industrial Management from Universidade do Algarve and a certificate in International Business Management from Temple University Japan.
