Masaki Sone

Masaki Sone's work experience includes managerial roles in various finance departments. From April 2021 onwards, they have been serving as the Deputy Director and General Manager of the Project Finance Department at MODEC, Inc. Prior to that, they held the position of General Manager in the same department starting from April 2018. Before joining MODEC, Inc., Masaki worked at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. From April 2015 to March 2017, they were the General Manager of the Credit Department Americas Division. From April 2013 to March 2015, they served as the Managing Director and Department Head in the Strategic Credit Product Department, Americas Division. Earlier in their career, Masaki held the position of General Manager in the Asian Credit Department at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) Asia Pacific from April 2011 to March 2013.

Masaki Sone completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in History at Rikkyo University between 1981 and 1985. Later, from 1987 to 1990, they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at California State University, Northridge.
