Omar de Andrade Msc

Omar De Andrade holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Rice Business and a Master of Science (MSc) in Ocean Engineering, along with Bachelor's degrees in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Currently serving as Portfolio Manager in the Project Management Office (PMO) at MODEC since November 2021, Omar has significantly contributed to the establishment and operational success of the PMO by developing project management processes and fostering collaboration among multidisciplinary teams. Previous roles include FPSO Hull Delivery Manager, FPSO Transformation Manager, and FPSO Engineering Manager, where Omar managed and advanced critical EPCI projects for major clients such as Shell and Woodside. With extensive experience in project engineering and management from positions at SOFEC, Inc., MCS Kenny Limited, American Bureau of Shipping, and National Instruments, Omar has a proven track record in delivering innovative engineering solutions and ensuring regulatory compliance in complex marine projects. Certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP).
