Ursula Mello

Ursula Mello is a Marine Integrity Specialist at MODEC, with a career spanning over 18 years in the marine and engineering sectors. Previous roles include Naval Integrity and Fleet Support Director at SBM Offshore, where Ursula managed a significant project involving seven converted FPSOs in collaboration with Petrobras and Shell. As a Project Engineer for the Cidade de Ilhabela FPSO project and a Senior Naval Engineer, Ursula developed and managed schedules, addressed contractual and commercial issues, and facilitated communications across various shipyard departments at EISA Shipyard. Additionally, Ursula has held leadership positions, such as Head of Engineering Department at both Estaleiro Mauá and EISA Shipyard. Ursula holds an MBA in Project Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and a Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
