Model ICAO is an international simulation of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), a specialized agency of the United Nations responsible for setting global standards for aviation safety, security, and sustainability.

Held entirely at ICAO Headquarters in Montréal, it is the only UN simulation in the world to take place within the actual premises of a UN specialized agency. The event is organized jointly by ICAO and the Société québécoise de droit international (SQDI).

This bilingual (French and English) simulation allows participants to take on the roles of State representatives, ICAO officials, and aviation experts, debating and drafting resolutions on real-world issues in international civil aviation. Through this unique experience, delegates strengthen their skills in diplomacy, negotiation, public speaking, and policy drafting, while gaining a deeper understanding of global aviation governance.
