Matthis T.

Matthis T. has extensive work experience in the fields of simulation engineering, thermal and fluid dynamics, and energy. Matthis started their career as a PhD student at GFZ-Potsdam in 2009 and completed their doctoral studies in 2014. Following this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universität der Künste Berlin from 2014 to 2018.

In 2018, Matthis joined Modelon as a Simulation Engineer and later progressed to the role of Senior Simulation Engineer. From 2021 to 2022, they served as the Team Leader for ThermoFluid & Energy. Currently, as of May 2022, Matthis holds the position of Product Lead for HVAC-R and Automotive thermal at Modelon. Throughout their various roles, Matthis has gained expertise in simulation engineering and has contributed to projects related to thermal and energy systems.

Matthis T. completed their education from 2001 to 2008 at Hamburg University of Technology, earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering (Dipl.-Ing). In addition, they also studied at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2005 to 2006, focusing on Industrial Engineering.
