Nirmala possesses a strong background in engineering and simulation, with experience in various roles across multiple companies. As a Simulation Engineer at Modelon since January 2019, Nirmala focuses on developing and maintaining models in the Energy Industry Solutions Team while also providing technical support for customer projects. Prior to this, positions included a Working Student role at SynErgy Thermal Management GmbH, developing Modelica-based models for automotive applications, and an evaluation role at Assystem, where Simulink models underwent static analysis. Nirmala also held a position as an Assistant Lecturer at Swiss German University, aiding in Mechatronics Engineering, and completed an internship at Vorwerk Group, contributing to kitchen appliance prototype development. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computational Mechanics from the University of Duisburg-Essen and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Swiss German University.
