Amanpreet Kaur

Amanpreet Kaur, Ph.D., is an Implementation Engineer at ModelOp since January 2024, previously serving as a Solutions Engineer - Data Scientist Expert at Wallaroo from September 2022 to June 2023, where contributions included deploying AI models and providing advanced technical support. Before this, Kaur was an Assistant Research Professor at Penn State University from June 2019 to September 2022, achieving significant results in classifying sources detected by gamma-ray telescopes using machine learning, along with publishing five peer-reviewed research papers in the field of Astrophysics. Kaur has also worked as a freelance writer for Labroots, a postdoctoral researcher at Pennsylvania State University and Clemson University, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Clemson University, with a strong educational background in Physics and Astrophysics from Clemson University and Punjabi University.
