Moderaterna
John Bergsten currently holds the position of Kanslichef at Moderaterna in Stockholms stadshus since February 2023. Prior to this role, John served as a Political Advisor to the Minister for Civil Defense at Regeringskansliet, Försvarsdepartementet from November 2022 to February 2023. John's extensive experience with Moderaterna includes roles as a Political Advisor focusing on the trade committee, environmental and climate issues, and support to the management team within the party's parliamentary office between July 2019 and November 2022. Additionally, John worked as the Office Manager and Political Advisor at the European Parliament from February 2017 to July 2019 and as a public affairs consultant at Springtime from September 2015 to February 2017. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Political Science from Uppsala University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the same institution, supplemented by studies at The University of Salford.
