Danny Harper

Danny Harper is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the beverage industry and international relations. Currently serving as Export Director at moderato since March 2022, Danny previously held significant roles including Head of Business Unit - Beverages and Business Unit Manager at Wabel, where responsibilities included managing the Wabel Wine & Spirits Summit. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Student Researcher at CIHEAM-IAMM, where Danny contributed to developing Israel's first Geographical Indication for a wine region, and as an IP Strategist at ARO, focusing on global commercial trademark strategy. Danny's background also includes substantial experience in agricultural policy at the French Embassy in the United States and teaching English in France. Danny holds a Master’s degree in Food Identity and a Bachelor’s degree in Romance Languages and Literature and Psychology from the University of Notre Dame, reinforced by studies at various European institutions.
