Modern Heavy Industries (MHI) is a high-quality, international structural steel fabricator based near Shanghai, China in Taicang City. MHI holds certification for AISC Steel Buildings/Sophisticated Paint, EN 1090-1/2 (+A1) - (CE-Mark), Canadian Standard CSA 47.1 (CWB), ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 Supply and Installation of Steel Structures, Los Angeles Unlimited High Strength Steel Fabricator, Russia GOST, China Grade 1, also supplies JIS JASS 6. 
MHI welding complies with AWS D1.1, D14.1, and D1.5, as well as EN. MHI fabricates structural steel for Power Plants, HRSG, Offshore/Marine, LNG, Industrial, Petrochemical, High-Rise structures, Infrastructure, and other types of projects. 

MHI shops and facilities include 60,000 m2 of covered workshops, 40,000m2 of yard assembly and storage area, 30,000m2 of port assembly area, and 775 meters of waterfront at the Port of Taicang for berthing and loading of 50,000DWT vessels only 50km from the Port of Shanghai. Max. lift (under roof) capacity: 64 MT, Max. lift yard capacity: 200 MT. Max. lift dimensions: 12mWx10mHx30mL. Paint area exceeds 15,000 m2, with another pre-assembly area of 16,000 m2.
