Modern Soils, founded in 1995, manufactures premium soil blends in partnership with Modern Mushroom Farms, one of the largest independently owned mushroom farms in the Eastern U.S., planting almost 4 million sq ft annually.
Our closed-loop system repurposes spent mushroom substrate into high-quality compost and soil products. We continue to expand sustainable practices, including our new composting infrastructure in 2024.
